Maybe I'm conservative. Maybe I'm boring. Sometimes I feel like a little old lady that shakes her head at all of the "crazy things that kids wear these days!" because I have a preference toward more classic, subtle pieces. However, I'd much rather think of these pieces as foundations for which to build your personal style upon. The classic trench is a great example of what I'm referring to...Not only are here countless variations of this style of coat (including men's, vintage and leather) and some speak for themselves, but the point is they can be interpreted into whatever YOU want. How about...a hoodie, acid-washed denim cut-offs, gold bangles, and a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood heels.(at lagarconne.com)
