Although I know very little of the designer's work, I recently was introduced to this brand by way of the men's collection. And it's hard for me to comment on the fashion alone without also drawing attention to how fantastic this entire shot is. The hair and lips, the coat, the proportion of the trousers, the light, the shadow, color...that coat! I thought of this as an appropriate image to use as a farewell to Fall 2008, as we will see more and more of the Spring looks cropping up and brushing the clouds away. However excited as I may be to welcome this fresh season I also mourn the passing of fall layers, cashmere sweaters, boots and strikingly elegant coats such as this.(at danielealessandrini.com)
