Of all of the indispensable items in my own wardrobe, a great pair (or two) of neutral shoes is, without question, on my short list of most loved. Flats, sandals, or pumps, a nude shoe is classic, subtle and when worn with a bare leg quite flattering. I liked this pair in particular because, although they're seemingly plain, they have a hidden platform, clean lines and that great little stitched detail at the toe. They give me a Jessica Rabbit/50's housewife vibe...but maybe I'm the only one. (at shopbop.com)
